Reiki Therapy

Reiki (ray-key) is a system of healing which relieves stress, reduces pain, and accelerates healing. The practice of Reiki follows Jesus' tradition with the laying of hands. This gentle, healing energy, which we know as spirit, promotes healing and balances within the body and the whole being, intelligently spreading where healing is most needed.

Reiki is beneficial for our day-to-day life situations, relieving stress and promoting relaxation, as well as for those times of challenge, pain, and transition. This is a wonderful treatment for individuals with chronic pain or illness, and for those in the dying process. Treatment is given with the receiver fully clothed.

Celeste Crine, OSF, MA - Spiritual Coordinator for SJFC. Certified in spiritual direction, Celeste offers directed, guided and preached retreats and has served as a supervisor for spiritual directors in the Neumann College Pastoral Counseling Department in Philadelphia. She has been certified as a massage therapist and Master Reiki practitioner and is an accredited T'ai Chi Chih® teacher.
